Aaron  Willis

Aaron is currently a Senior Associate, Corporate Strategy at DTE Energy. Previously, he was an Associate, Commercial Energy Group at Booz Allen Hamilton. At Yale he focused on corporate water risk and stewardship and water resources management. The summer of 2014, Aaron was an EDF Climate Corps Fellow with the CA Technologies Office of Sustainability, where he developed a model to estimate total water consumption across 120+ facilities.

Prior to Yale, he spent four years at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Institute for Water Resources and seven months on assignment to the Water Team at the US Agency for International Development. While with the Army Corps, Aaron worked on diverse projects including stakeholder based planning in the Mekong basin, development of guidelines to ensure appropriate financial assurances for wetlands mitigation, new tools to model budget decision-making processes, and project review of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. While at USAID, Aaron developed guidance for Missions on how to incorporate water resources management into their climate adaptation plans and worked with USAID/Mali to recommend best practices for agricultural water management. Aaron received his BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
