Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance
The Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance (YISF) aims to produce fresh thinking and cutting-edge research on the challenges of integrating sustainability concerns into financial markets and investment decisions.

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) refers to the criteria that investors use to assess risks and opportunities relating to a company’s environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance.
As part of our Beyond the Buzzwords initiative with Tsai CITY, Yale lecturer and CBEY faculty co-director Todd Cort helps explain this term.
Also, check out this video where he talks about the challenges of ESG reporting.
CBEY staff, Fellows and Visiting Mentors are available for office hours or one-on-one coaching sessions about your career path, innovative idea, coursework, and beyond.
