Aashna Mehra

Aashna is a Silver Scholar at the Yale School of Management and is currently trying to make the exciting transition from blowing up batteries in lab and working for an Indian Member of Parliament to figuring out accounting problem sets. The energy sector inherently fascinates her because of how science, finance and policy must work in tandem to affect real change and drive modernization in the industry. She is passionate about innovative business models for renewable energy and sees herself working on either energy storage finance or clean tech venture capital in the near future.    Aashna graduated with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) from Princeton University in 2015. She is also a Zumba aficionado and experimental foodie, who is forever willing to discuss politics over wine and cheese.
