Marketing and Branding for Social Ventures: Insights from the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

How do you convey your mission, whilst promoting your product or service? How do you build a brand that people know and love?

Branding is a powerful tool that marketers leverage to deliver the values of the company or the product to the end customers. Whether you are building a for-profit social business or a non-profit, this workshop aims to demonstrate the importance of building brands that create organizational cohesion and generate trust in order to build capacity and drive social impact.

This session will be facilitated by Nathalie Laidler-Kylander, a lead expert in nonprofit marketing and branding strategies with 30 years of experience. In addition to delivering key insights into marketing social ventures, Nathalie will discuss her journey to Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation and opportunities to engage or be funded by the foundation.

Nathalie Laidler-Kylander is currently a Managing Director of Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, and formerly taught at Harvard Kennedy School. Nathalie is also the co-author of The Brand IDEA.
