Internship descriptions:

  • Amy worked on a small team looking to raise a fund by the fall. The purpose of the fund was to provide upfront capital to tropical jurisdictions to develop REDD+ carbon credits and then sell credits in various compliance markets for a profit. The goal was to sell credits to big buyers who face emissions regulations, like the aviation industry.
  • Max worked at a Certified B Corp that creates green cleaning solutions for institutional clients. His day-to-day work involved investor research/outreach, supply chain analysis, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Ben worked on strategy and operations for Brava, a start-up that makes a smarter and faster countertop oven. By diving into the deep-end on key projects, he learned about financing, partnerships, supply chains, and much more.

Students - Tell us about your summer! CBEY is compiling information on internships at the business/environment interface. Please fill out this short survey to share information about your internship experience.

Summer internship talks are an opportunity for students to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of their summer experience, for the benefit and amusement of anyone who is interested. Presenters will be selected from the entire business and environment community at SOM/FES.
