Terra Conservation Capital: A Conversation with Roy Richards, Jr.

Please join us for a conversation with Roy Richards, Jr., a board member at the Trust for Public Land.  Roy will present his work with Terra Conservation Capital, a five-year-old company conceived to exploit niche opportunities in rural land conservation in the American Southeast. It uses easements, conservation finance, and mitigation to protect about 1000 acres per year and makes a small profit. His presentation will review its work and potential for expansion, and seek advice from the audience about the business model.

Lunch will be served.
