Solar Financing at Sol Systems – Doing Well by Doing Good

Since its founding in 2008, Sol Systems has developed and/or financed over 1 GW of solar in the United States. The DC-based, mid-sized company has three main business lines: REC and environmental commodity trading, solar development, and fund and asset management.

In this webinar, Krisztina Pjeczka will discuss Sol Systems’ approach to solar financing and development, the current challenges and opportunities the industry faces from her vantage point, and the company’s recently announced partnership with Microsoft to bring online 500 MW of new solar power with a focus on environmental and social justice. She will touch on the company’s mission-driven culture and will highlight roles that students with MEM and MBA degrees and other similar backgrounds may find fulfilling.

Krisztina, a Structured Finance Senior Associate at Sol Systems, graduated from the Yale School of the Environment with an MEM degree in 2018.
