Paul Poiret: Inventing Modern Luxury - Mary Davis Book Launch

The conversation will explore how Paul Poiret helped redefine fashion as art, pioneered early lifestyle marketing, and laid the groundwork for modern luxury. His influence remains strikingly relevant today, most recently inspiring Dior’s Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection. Through a sustainability lens, the discussion will reflect on what Poiret’s emphasis on artistry, narrative, and enduring value can offer as the fashion industry rethinks consumption, excess, and responsibility. The talk will be followed by an audience Q&A.
