John Weiss serves as a Senior Director on the Ceres Company Network team. His work involves pushing companies, through direct engagement, to develop and execute sustainable business strategies defined by ambitious commitments to address key environmental and social impacts as well as strong governance and disclosure practices.

John will describe Ceres' theory of change and how his team's "inside game" advocacy contributes to the organization's overall impact. Prior to his time at Ceres, John worked for more than 20 years as an energy and environmental consultant to private and public sector clients. He also currently serves on the board of directors of the United National Global Compact Network USA.
