Watch the full recording here!

Please join the Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) for the next webinar of the 2016-2017 season of Nature’s Returns: Investing in Ecosystem Services.

Lucyann Murray (Yale MBA/Master of Forestry, ‘17) will present key findings from the report she recently co-authored on sustainable farmland investment strategies. She will discuss methods for generating market-level returns as well as next steps for the industry. Lucyann will explore specific case studies featured in the report relating to holistic grazing, water infrastructure, and organic grain crops. Stephen Hohenrieder (Food System and Regenerative Agriculture Investor) will discuss the practical ways in which regenerative land management and production practices have been implemented at Hana Ranch and Green Spring Farms. Stephen will speak to how consumers create market opportunities and how infrastructure serves as a gating factor in connecting producers and consumers. The program will touch on the various opportunities for every profile of capital, from venture capital to foundations to family offices, to get involved in and generate returns from sustainable farmland investment.

The free online event will last 45 minutes and is open to the public. Email invitations for following Nature's Returns webinars will be sent as the dates approach. Visit the CBEY website for up-to-date information regarding these and other events.
