This upcoming webinar will focus on the current activity and design of on-bill programs as part of our series of energy efficiency financing webinars held in partnership with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and the SEE Action network. The webinar will feature Mark Zimring of LBNL who will present material from the new SEE Action report;“Financing Energy Improvements on Utility Bills: Market Updates and Key Program Design Considerations for Policymakers and Administrators”.

The webinar will provide an overview of existing on-bill programs along with insights on key program design considerations. Drawing on data collected from 30 on-bill programs, we will review trends in on-bill programs, including their geographic reach, loan volumes, loan performance and major program design issues: (1) structuring the loan product (disconnection and meter attachment), (2) sources of capital, (3) assessing customer creditworthiness, and (4) selecting eligible measures.
