“An Introduction to Carbon Markets” will clarify the differences between carbon offsets and carbon credits, examine whether the carbon market is truly “dead,” and define what constitutes a high-quality carbon credit. Attendees will gain a grounding in the fundamentals of carbon markets, today’s evolving landscape, and the vital role these mechanisms are expected to play in achieving global net-zero goals.

Frank is a first-year MBA student with four years of sustainability strategy consulting experience at Deloitte. Frank has worked with carbon project developers, helping them with project design, commercial strategy, and buyer-seller negotiations. In addition, Frank has deep carbon accounting expertise and has helped numerous Fortune 500 companies improve their data granularity and accuracy for public reporting.
