Calculating the Potential Energy and Cost Savings of Clean Heating & Cooling Technologies

The Renewable Thermal Alliance is delighted to invite you to their upcoming webinar, "Calculating the Potential Energy and Cost Savings of Clean Heating & Cooling (CH&C) Technologies."

The Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) and a regional team of state energy offices, utilities, and other partners are working on an energy and carbon savings calculator for clean heating and cooling technologies. This tool, still under development, presents a common, regional platform for homeowners to compare CH&C technologies against traditional heating fuels, including electric resistance.

Join us to learn about the CH&C technologies covered by the tool, the different inputs and data sources used in the tool, and how these inputs feed the calculations used to generate the tool's outputs. While the final, online tool is not yet published, the speakers will walk through the tool's framework and present the outputs for a variety of scenarios in the three participating states (CT, MA, NY).

Speakers:

  • Val Stori, Project Director, CESA
  • Damon Lane, Technical & Modeling Lead, Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC)
  • Matt Miller, Sr. Project Manager, NYSERDA
