Bridging the Gap from Philanthropy to Impact Investing

Namrita Kapur is an impact investor with experience that spans philanthropy, NGOs, and the private sector. In this talk, she will lay out why and how impact investing can move the needle in deploying capital to address social and environmental problems. She’ll explain where impact investing sits in the spectrum of capital, and she’ll give an example from conservation finance to demonstrate the gap that philanthropy should be filling.

For those who are new to the field of impact investing, the talk will be a good introduction to the field. For those who are well versed, the talk will be an exciting exploration of what’s needed going forward.

Lunch will be provided. Please register, as space and food are limited.
