Author & Career Lunch Talk | Living Roots: The Promise of Perennial Foods
Join us for a Lunch Talk at the Yale Farm with Liz Carlisle and Aubrey Streit-Krug, co-editors of the new book, Living Roots: the Promise of Perennial Foods. Leading up to the evening's book release celebration (which will also include farmers Leah Penniman of Soul Fire Farm and Piyush Labhsetwar of Grow Food Northampton), we'll have and a conversation with Liz and Aubrey to discuss their pathways to careers in regenerative agriculture through research, writing, and diverse network building.
Liz Carlisle is an Associate Professor at UC Santa Barbara and the author of Healing Grounds and The Lentil Underground among other titles.
Aubrey Streit Krug is the Perennial Cultures Lab Director at The Land Institute
Since we have very limited seating for this event, please only sign up if you can commit to attending for the full hour from 12-1pm with 1-1:30 being optional.
