Partnerships

Partner with us to build capacity and upskill your workforce!

Partnership Overview

We invite small groups (4-6 people) connected to the same organization to join the Yale Clean and Equitable Energy Development (CEED) program as a cluster.

There is a significant need and demand for clusters of connected organizations and individuals to participate in the program together. This approach will help deepen their knowledge of clean energy development and energy justice, prepare them for projects, and foster a shared sense of purpose and mission.

Participants will:

  • explore how developers scope, design, and develop clean energy projects while evaluating the justice principles and opportunities involved from the earliest stages of planning.
  • experience enhanced networking and collaboration within clusters of geographically connected organizations.
  • be able to immediately apply new knowledge to real-world projects.
  • develop a shared mission and purpose, collaborating on a final project to develop a new clean energy solution.

Application Process & Special Discount

Please connect with us right away at ceed.certificate@yale.edu if you're interested in sponsoring a cluster of your organization's employees or partners. With some limitations, we can arrange for an extended application period and/or payment schedule for clusters.

Tuition payments may be submitted by the learner or by the sponsoring organization directly. If arranged in advance, we offer significant tuition discounts (up to 30%; or $1,500) for organizations sponsoring clusters of 4+ people.  A sponsor code will be provided for each cluster in order to apply the special discount and flag applicants during the admissions process.

Each member of the cluster should submit individual applications by the program's application deadline

When admissions decisions are released, the sponsoring organization will be notified of all accepted applicants within their cluster and a payment plan will be developed.

Special Application Requirements for Clusters

All application materials must be submitted by individual applicants through the Yale Online G.L.A.S.S. electronic application portal. Please do not email or mail any material to Yale, YSE Admissions, CBEY, or YCEJ.

Applicants intending to join the CEED program as a part of a cluster do not need to submit a Letter of Recommendation.

No additional discounts will be provided beyond the special rate provided to the cluster, so the tuition discount essay is also not required.

Please obtain the organizational sponsor code prior to submitting your application and enter it into the space provided on the application form. This will help us flag your application as a part of a designated cluster and update your tuition due appropriately.

For more information about the general application requirements, including the essay prompts, please refer to the Application Readiness Checklist, found on the Apply page.
