Caroline Goodbody is a second year joint MBA/MEM student interested in resources and water management and finding business solutions for public sector challenges. This summer, she worked at the Environmental Defense Fund, working on its corporate water efficiency project with AT&T. She conducted water analysis for 12 cities and researched possibilities to expand the EFD corporate water efficiency program. At Yale, Caroline pursues her interests by focusing her courses on corporate environmental strategy, water management, and strengthening her quantitate and science foundations. Outside the classroom, she is a research assistant for CBEY, co-captain of the FES softball team, and is looking forward to getting back on the ice as a member of the SOM hockey club.
Prior to Yale, Caroline worked in politics and government affairs, including three years in the office of US Senator Cardin. As a legislative correspondent, she was responsible for an array of issues including the environment, transportation, national parts, and energy. More recently, she worked as the Senator’s principle speechwriter.
Caroline hails from Washington D.C. and holds a BA in political economy from Williams College. She is an avid cyclist and remains true to her beloved Washington Capitals.
