Sharada is a second year Master of Environmental Management candidate. Her focus is improved carbon sequestration and sustainable management of farmland and agroforestry through geospatial technology.
Prior to Yale, Sharada worked on the development of India's first zero-pesticide farming standards and protocols for 5500 farms across 11 states in India. She was also responsible for establishing and growing the sustainable foods and farming division in a for-profit social business working with farmers in the states of Harayana and Punjab in India.
