Rachel Mak

Rachel Mak is a joint MEM/MBA graduate. She works as an environmental consultant for Industrial Economics and helps clients improve their operations to decrease inefficiencies for material and energy savings. Rachel has experience working with federal, state, and private stakeholders to identify solutions to a diverse set of sustainability issues. Her primary areas of expertise are life cycle assessment and hotspot analysis to support purchasing and product sustainability, program design and assessment, program impact evaluation, and energy and GHG emissions reduction strategies.

Before Yale, Rachel worked in the mergers & acquisitions field in Shanghai, China. She graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in environmental science and public policy. Rachel now lives in Southampton, MA with her husband, child and their adorable dog.
