Paul McMahon is the co-founder of SLM Partners, an asset management firm that focuses on sustainable agriculture and forestry. SLM Partners manages an Australian beef cattle fund that has acquired and operates more than 1 million acres of grazing land in Australia. Paul has previously worked at Climate Change Capital and McKinsey & Company. He has published widely, including the 2013 book "Feeding Frenzy: The New Politics of Food." He is also the author of “The investment case for ecological farming”, a major white paper released by SLM Partners in January 2016. He holds a BA from University College Dublin and a PhD from Cambridge University.
