Michael is a third year joint degree candidate. In another life Michael worked in Shanghai, China for a solar energy consulting firm called Clean Energy Associates. While at CEA, Michael worked with developers, IPPs, and project owners in navigating international trade policy and supply chains within the Chinese manufacturing industry. Michael returned to Yale in order to further explore the potential for market disruption in the water sector, particularly related to seawater desalination. While at school he has worked with companies throughout the sector including Oasys Water, DeepWater Desal, and Edison Water Resources. Michael is a graduate of Duke University where he holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and Chinese. He wishes more people at Yale would appreciate Duke basketball.
