Matthew Sebonia

Matthew Sebonia is currently Southeast Asia Clean Energy Facility (SEACEF) Lead Consultant at the European Climate Foundation. There, he is involved in building and incubating SEACEF,  a multi-donor early stage project development or preparation facility for key markets in SE Asia that will focus on providing capital to early stage project developers in the solar, wind, storage, EV and efficient cooling sectors. Previously, he was Consultant at d.light and a Director at Ultra Capital LLC.

He also currently serves as the Director and Founder of Global Climate Capital, which offers project finance and consulting for climate and resource efficiency projects in Southeast Asia and beyond. He holds a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies as well as a B.S. in Chemistry and Energy Resources from the Evergreen State College.
