Lucyann is a third year joint degree MBA/MF candidate. Her studies at Yale are focused on sustainable land management and investment. She spent this past summer working at GreenWood Resources as an Economics and Finance Intern, evaluating new investment strategies for the timber investment management organization. Her previous summer, she spent in impact investing for Sustainable America in Stamford, CT where she built a business plan for sustainable ranching & ecotourism with Kunoa Cattle, located in Kauai, HI. Prior to Yale, she has spent time working in a startup that builds aeroponic farms, a quickly growing health food café, and leading environmental projects for a ski resort. Her interest lies in finding innovative ways for a sustainable future in land and natural resource management.
She graduated from Stanford with a degree in Human Biology, with a focus on nutrition and sustainable agriculture, and also pursued a career as a competitive freestyle snowboarder. Though no longer a competitive snowboarder, she now coaches snowboarding at Stratton, VT. In her free time, you will find Lucyann outdoors exploring, adventuring, and passing on the passion, no matter what the season.
