Justine Sears

Justine Sears is a Consultant in VEIC’s Transportation Efficiency division with a specialty in travel behavior and transportation energy use. At VEIC her work has focused on the environmental and economic impacts of transportation policies and our individual travel choices. She has lead comprehensive transportation cost-benefit analyses for the National Association of State Energy Offices and forecasting efforts for a range of transportation and energy planning projects. She conducts spatial analyses on a number of topics, including community energy mapping and suitability assessments of alternative fuel vehicles. Justine is leading efforts at VEIC to launch a creative financing program that builds on lessons learned from energy services company models to help fleets transition toward electric vehicle technology. Prior to coming to VEIC, Justine worked at the University of Vermont Transportation Research Center where her work focused on rural travel patterns and alternative fuel technologies.
