As part of implementing a crowd-sourced based internal innovation campaign, together with the CTO's office, he successfully launched the "UTC Grand Challenges" initiative, a cross business unit virtual collaboration and supporting software environment structured to create networked groups that create ideas and identify potential solutions for some of the Company's most difficult challenges.
He was the Liaison Delegate for UTC at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). He also sat on the Board for the Global Buildings Performance Network, a Paris based NGO originally initiated under Climate Works Foundation sponsorship, that offers a knowledge hub for best practice policies that can increase market activity in energy efficiency and emissions reductions. He also was lead organizer and executive sponsor for the TERI-UTC Center of Excellence for Energy Efficient Buildings in India, launched in 2015. He completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech in Engineering Science and Mechanics, received his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is an MIT Sloan Fellow where he also received his MBA.
