Bert Hunter

The CT Green Bank is driving investment in energy efficiency and clean, renewable energy by leveraging government funds with private capital through many programs and innovative structures across all sectors of the economy. As Chief Investment Officer of the CT Green Bank, Bert Hunter leads the development of new and innovative financing programs. Since 2012, the Green Bank has leveraged $350 million in private capital in a variety of energy efficiency and clean energy investments including a $60 MM Solar Lease Fund with US Bank, a $10 million Solar Loan product crowd funded with Mosaic and $70 million in Commercial PACE loans, $30 million of which were securitized last year with Clean Fund. Before joining the CT Green Bank, Bert was VP of Finance and CFO of Spectrum Capital, Ltd, a boutique investment bank that arranged over $25 billion in commercial aircraft financings.
