Ben is a first-year joint degree candidate. His studies at Yale focus on corporate social and environmental responsibility, as well as climate change and sustainable development. Before coming to Yale, Ben worked on climate resilience and global poverty alleviation. From 2014 to 2016, he coordinated climate resilience projects at World Resources Institute in Washington, DC, and from 2012 to 2013, he researched climate vulnerability in rural communities of India’s Thar Desert. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, where he studied ecology and environmental science. In addition to having a knack for organizational management and substantial knowledge of the international climate policy landscape, he also has many non-marketable skills, such as retention of arcane and useless trivia on a wide array of topics and the ability to craft almost any animal out of aluminum foil.
