Ben Healey

Ben is currently Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance at PosiGen, where he leads capital strategy and supports growth initiatives for the only residential solar company focused on serving low- and moderate-income homeowners. Previously, as Director of Clean Energy Finance at the Connecticut Green Bank, Ben helped lead the way in developing the nation’s leading Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program, structured innovative deals to enable solar investment for affordable multifamily properties (among other traditionally non-investment grade property types), and broke new ground by building clean energy investment partnerships with not only traditional financial institutions but also emerging players such as foundations and crowdsourcing platforms.

Earlier in his career, he served as the Staff Director to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources in the Massachusetts State Legislature. In addition, Ben has experience working on public power deals with Morgan Stanley and in cleantech investing with DBL Investors, a “double bottom line” venture capital firm. He holds degrees from the Yale School of Management, the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and Yale College, and he is a former member of the New Haven Board of Aldermen.
