Tackling the Challenge of Creating Water Quality Markets

Join the Yale Center for Business and the Environment for the 2015-2016 season of "Nature’s Returns: Investing in Ecosystem Services" as we continue our three part webinar mini-series, titled Capital Flows: Catalyzing Investments in Water Resources. The mini series explores the development of water finance markets in the United States and is organized in partnership with the Conservation Finance Network (CFN) at Island Press.

To conclude the mini-series, Todd Gartner from the World Resources Institute and Bobby Cochran of the Willamette Partnership will engage in an interactive conversation on the National Network on Water Quality Trading and its new report, “Building a Water Quality Trading Program: Options and Considerations.” Sharing their vision of developing a national network to improve riparian zones, Gartner and Cochran will explore strategies to construct consistent models of water quality markets.
