Protecting Nature: Landscape Scale Conservation in the United States

Please join the Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) for the 2014-2015 season of "Nature’s Returns: Investing in Ecosystem Services". We are continuing the mini-series on Regional Initiatives: A Strategy for Removing Barriers and Moving to Landscape Scale. The mini-series will highlight regional initiatives, both international and domestic, that serve as scalable models and approaches to spur major institutional investments.

The second half of this mini-series will feature a talk on Protecting Nature: Landscape Scale Conservation in the United States by Peter Howell of the Open Space Institute (OSI).

In this webinar, Howell will discuss his work at the Open Space Institute, a conservation organization that focuses on landscape-scale conservation throughout the Eastern United States. Through recent projects spearheaded by OSI, Howell will illustrate the challenges and opportunities that landscape-scale conservation presents, and share his insight on current trends regarding conservation in the United States.

The free online event will last one hour and is open to the public. This webinar will take place via GoToWebinar. To join, click on the registration link below.
