Learning the Language of Business and the Environment: Economic Development, Balance Sheets, and the Micro-economics of Sustainability

This Friday, join CBEY for the inaugural event in a new speaker series featuring F&ES/SOM joint degree alumni who have pioneered careers at the nexus of business and the environment.

Our first speaker is Jackie Roberts (BS '84, MEM/MBA ‘89), whose career includes famous successes such as working with McDonald's to get rid of polystyrene clamshells for the Big Mac. Jackie launched and led EDF's renowned Corporate Partnerships Program, which for 20 years has provided a new model for working hand-in-hand with businesses to prove that good environmental stewardship can also be good for the bottom line. She will speak about her extensive work with some of the largest corporations in the world, as well as her newest position with the EDF SmartPower program.
