In this webinar, Paul McMahon will explore how the sustainability challenges of modern-day agriculture can be solved using ecological, regenerative farming systems that offer superior risk-adjusted returns on investments. The webinar will focus on the investment mechanisms that can help scale up ecological farming systems in degraded landscapes, simultaneously generating attractive financial returns and positive environmental impacts. Paul will further expand on one of SLM’s current projects – a $100m investment strategy focused on sustainable sheep production in degraded land in Chilean Patagonia – as a case study part of Initiative 20x20 (country-led effort to restore 20 million hectares of land in Latin America and the Caribbean by 2020).
