Providing students with a foundation of tangible skills specific to marketing in the sustainability and clean-tech space.
The Center for Business and the Environment at Yale will host a one-day workshop on environmental marketing as part of the Sabin Sustainable Ventures speaker series.  The workshop will aim to provide students with a foundation of tangible skills specific to marketing in the sustainability and clean-tech space.  The morning session will consist of lectures from experts on the different skills and tools necessary for marketing environmental products and services. Guest speakers will be: Erika Diamond - Vice President of Community Solutions at RecycleBank, Josh Dorfman - Site Leader at Vine.com, Mei Shibata - Chief Strategy Officer at ThinkEco.  After lunch, teams of students will present their solutions to marketing challenges the speakers will provide and recieve feedback.  Finally, the speakers will hold a panel to answer student questions about environmental marketing careers.
